Competition Is Here!!

Wow! I can’t believe competition season is already here! The Winter Classic was a huge success. It was so exciting to see all of the teams’ routines. There were so many new and cool ideas in all of the routines. I especially loved seeing all the creative lifts in the dance routines.

I was also impressed by all of the awesome blinged-out costumes and uniforms! I am a huge fan of rhinestones, so I loved seeing the bling out on the competition floor.

I can’t wait to see what the rest of the competition season has in store. I know the routines are only going to keep getting better! I am looking forward to seeing all of the teams at the SoCal Kickoff at Capo Valley High School. Be sure to get your Entry Forms in soon, so we can get your teams registered for the event!

The First Competition…

Well, competition season has officially started! My team had its first competition and it all went smooth. It was great to see all the routines and ideas out there, thats always my favorite part of the new season. This time was an easy day for me, being that I only had one team to worry about, the next few its starts to get crazy as I coach and compete….just gotta keep telling myself to take deep breaths and HAVE FUN! Thats what its all about anyways Check back soon for my crazy competition day updates!!

The most popular competitions are back again. Check the U.S.Spiritleader website for the upcoming dates and venues. Capo Valley High School will be the hosts for the So Cal Kick Off on January 7th and Xtreme Games on February 11th. Hope to see you this season and good luck to all!

So I decided to retire from coaching after twenty five years of doing it. I sometimes ask myself if I made the right choice? I don’t miss all of the hours that I use to put in, but I do miss working with the kids.
